For the repair of the building structures we render the services of a) Detailed survey of each and every flat and the building as a whole to note down the structural (Column, beam, slab etc.) and civil defects. b) Preparation of detailed report with observations and the remedial measures with the procedure of work and the specification of work. (This will be done after thorough study of the observations made in the survey). c) Preparation of structural audit report d) Cost estimate e) Preparation of tender f) Selection of Contractor g) Supervision of works h) Taking measurements i) Bill certification j) Check the materials and workmanship for good quality work k) Conduct meeting with society and contractor for speedy, timely and quality work and to plan and manage the work properly l) Issue the stability certificate after the completion of works. Depending on the requirement of the society the services required can be selected.
In Structural Audit and the Repair work thereafter, only an engineer having specialization and experience in building structural design (design of foundation, column, beam, slab, cantilever, water tank etc.) along with the experience in building repair can take correct decisions in the safety, stability and method of repair of the building. Only few firms in Mumbai can provide such engineers for these jobs. Experience in only repair is not enough.
We do Structural Auditing and Repair work under the direct control of BMC registered B.Tech (Civil) Engineer having 30 years specialization, experience and expertise in both Structural Design and Repair of Buildings, as per the above requirement.
Repair at the right time is important for the strength, durability, stability and long life of a building. The repair work should be done technically and systematically with proper consultancy and guidance of a structural engineer.
For any structural (Column, beam, slab etc.) and civil damage of the building the root cause of the problem should be found out. Only after that the repair work should be done. While using the latest techniques of chemical treatments and strengthening methods of the structure in repair works the procedure of work and the specification of work are important. The work directly undertaken by a contractor without proper study and report, will adversely affect the stability of the structure. In such situation the problems will not be solved permanently and the same defects will appear again and again after certain period of time and the repair work will have to be repeated. This will cause wastage of hard earned money and inconvenience to the members and residents of the building and adversely affect the stability of the structure also.
